A Brief Family History of CAAZ, Inc:
DeVries Diversified is a DBA of CAAZ, Inc. (which is the abbreviation for California and Arizona joined togehter) an Arizona Corporation. Gopher Construction Company is a DeVries Diversified company. Gopher Construction was founded in 1948 by David DeVries. His sons David P. DeVries and Daniel DeVries were partners with him from 1969 to 1973. David P and Daniel DeVries went on to start contracting companies of their own. In 1990 David DeVries wanted to retire and asked his son David P. DeVries if he would like to buy Gopher Construction Company. At that time David P. DeVries was living in Arizona and was running his company, CAAZ, Inc. He decided to buy Gopher Construction Company and move his contracting operation to California. The name CAAZ, Inc. was unavailable for use in California thereby the name DeVries Diversified was applied as a DBA for CAAZ, Inc.
